Who is this actress?
Who is this actress?
My late mother had kept three pictures of actors from old movies. One of them is Richard Greene (1918-1985), and another is Hedy Lamarr (1914-2000), but I cannot identify this actress even after 20 years of searching.
I suspect that my mother got those pictures in the theaters she went to in the 50s, but many of the Hollywood movies produced in the 30s and 40s were released in Japan after WW2, so this actress might be from older times. I’d appreciate if you could tell me who she is.
Footpath in Hokkaido
At Attoko Footpath in Nemuro, Hokkaido, in March.
Remained snow can be seen here and there on the path and it was still cold, but it was a pleasant walk in the nature.

With almost no visitors around due to the coronavirus pandemic, the swans look relaxed and comfortable.
Gundam Newspaper!!
Asahi Shimbun Newspaper has just released a special issue called
“Asahi Shimbun Mobile Suit Gundam Edition”!!
I happened to find this copy today at a convenience store
when I went there to buy “Shukan Shonen Jump”.
It is just amazing. The paper says that this is the January 1st,
0080 (Cosmic Century) issue, which seems to be equivalent to
August 6th, 2015 AD.
Good job, Asahi Shimbun!

Teine Highland (ski area) 2014
Teine Highland!
“Sapporo Teine” ski resort is located on Mt. Teine (1023m) and it was a venue
for alpine skiing, luge, and bobsleigh at the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics.
You can see the olympic rings on the wall of the building in the picture.
Sapporo Teine ski resort consists of “Highland zone” and “Olympia zone”
and those two zones are connected with gondolas.

Snow Cruise Onze 2014
“Snow Cruise Onze” is a ski ground in Otaru, Hokkaido.
While skiing, you can have a great view of Ishikari-wan bay.
Onze opens until 11 o’clock at night, thus it is called “Onze”,
which means eleven in French.
.
.
.
It’s nice to ski through the woods and toward the sea.
.
.
.
Snow Cruise Onze is not a big ski resort, but really enjoyable
with the great great view of the ocean.
It’s also close to Sapporo, 30 minutes from downtown Sapporo using an express way.
